Fee schedule version 2, aligned with the brand agreement.
Front Store's fee
Front Store charges 5% of the price of the items, excluding tax and delivery and after any discount on them, on orders that come through a creator's link on Front Store. Nothing else: no subscription and no charge for installing the app. Front Store may change the rate after telling you at least 30 days ahead, by email and in your Front Store console. A changed rate applies to orders placed on your checkout from the time it takes effect; it is never recalculated on orders placed before then.
Creator commission
You set the creator commission: a default rate, and optional rates for a category or a product. The rate that applies is fixed when the order is placed. Front Store pays it to the creator out of what you pay us.
Worked example
On a £100 item with a 20% creator commission:
- The buyer pays you £100.00 for the item on your own checkout (tax and delivery on top, as you set them)
- Creator commission · 20% → £20.00
- Front Store's fee · 5% → £5.00
- Added to your Shopify bill for this order → £25.00, and you keep £75.00 of the item price
How you are billed
When an order ships, the creator commission and Front Store's fee on it are added to your Shopify bill through Shopify's app billing, and Shopify collects them with the rest of your Shopify bill. Twice a month you get a statement in your Front Store console as a record of what was added; you do not pay it separately.
Payment processing
Buyers pay you through your own checkout, so your payment provider's fees on the sale are yours, as they are on any other sale. Front Store adds no processing charge.
Refunds and cancellations
Anything cancelled or refunded before it ships is never billed. If you refund some of an item's units after it has shipped, the commission and fee on those units come off your Shopify bill. If you refund every unit of an item after it has shipped, the commission and fee on that item stand and are billed in full. That counts every refund on the item, whenever you made it: if you refund the rest of an item after an earlier refund on it, anything credited for the earlier refund is billed again.
